Given that I am a man of the dreads - from time to time I make my pilgrimage to Khao San road to get my locks worked on. Since hair never stops growing you have to keep getting your hair locked as it grows out. I try to do this once a month or so. Some folks just don’t wash their hair but for most white folks even that won’t create uniform dreads so for me I head out to KS road and check in with my chief locker. He happens to be a Thai guy that after 2 bottles of the large Chang beers turns into Jack Sparrow - both in looks and in mannerisms. Usually we sit right on the main street - I take a low plastic chair while Jack gets to work on the dreads. This last trip though proved how trashy KS can be at times - trust me though it is not the locals but the white people.
No one is going to argue that there are heaps of ready, willing and able 18-25 year olds in Bangkok. Trying to find one is like trying to find sand on a beach. Of course, this being the land of smiles everyone knows that Bangkok is full of choices, even poor old middle manager Bob from Cincinnati who sneaks peeks at the TAT website while his wife is out of the room hoping one day, maybe just one day, ABC Inc. will send him on a business trip to Bangkok so he has legitimate excuse to come here knows that. Until that happens it is You Tube searches consisting of “Thai ping pong show” and “Pattaya go go bars” all the while making sure he erases his history just in case his wife checks.

I been a few times and was thoroughly under whelmed. Smitty did say though that when I got Im usually pissed as a Bangkok motocy driver which doesnt help.
www.tagged.com is where its at. I’ve been on there for a few weeks and had some quality pulls from there. Granted Im a seriously cool customer and can snap knicker elastic with a raise of the peoples eyebrow, but you mere mortals may also witness success too.

Been busy on the blog folks - it tends to come in waves. PG will be up next with his Pattaya news but this one will be more of a tour. All good. Then Young Penfold is up with his Tagged diary - I am pissing myself just trying to get the fucking thing edited. Pmmp and I buying all the rights to his content by offering him cheap booze and barfines at the Guess Bar. If you did not catch it - Pants Elk had a fine piece the other day. The reader submissions are rocking - thanks folks. And of course Daywalker - angry as usual.
On-Nutter pretty much sewed up the 1-10’s of all good and evil in Bangers.
But let me take this one step further and go for a 11-20 things that piss me off.
Don’t get me wrong… I love Bangkok …. These may be my little gripes, but I’m just a miserable bastard with time on my hands
11 - Balloon Chasing mother-fuckers. I was at a bar ‘party’ the other week and spied a few of these free-loading, burger eating parasites. Never been to the bar before, and will no doubt ever see them there again. - wankers. Have these got no shame. I’d like to hear from one of these. At least when a hot chick is free-loading… I get to look at a hot chick.

From what I know so far:
NEP - closed but some of the pubs and bars around soi 4 are open. Big Mango open at 6.
Patpong - I think is still closed but last night Safari and Madrid stayed open. Duke open all day.
Cowboy - From what I hear is closed.
All G-Clubs from what I know are closed as well.
My educated guess is After-Hours will be open tonight.

Visit To An Issan Bar Girl Factory by Pants Elk

The town has many attractions of its own, however, and is well worth a more extended visit. The main tourist facility is Thailand’s only indoor bobsledding run, where the artificial snow machine (out of order on both my visits) drains the Mekhong of three thousand gallons of water a day. But of more interest to the Big Mango demographic is the Inter BG Bar Girl Factory a couple of kilometres north of the Friendship Bridge.
